Policies
*Holiday periods are subject to higher rates. Rates are subject to change.
PLEASE FIND OUR POLICIES BELOW, YOU ARE
RESPONSIBLE FOR ADHERING TO THEM. IF OUR POLICIES ARE
DISRESPECTED, SOME ADDITIONAL CHARGES APPLY. NO
EXCEPTIONS:
CHECK-IN TIME: is 3:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please notify
manager if you check-in is outside these hours and we will arrange it for you.
CHECK OUT TIME: High Noon (12:00 p.m.) If you check
out when the office is not open, please leave your
key in the key drop next to the office door. Late
check out results in a $35 fee. Checkout after 2 pm
results in nightly rate charge. Early check outs are
considered cancellations and they will result in a regular room charge.
OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you wish, we
will be happy to assist you in making dinner or tour
reservations, or help you in planning your activities.
NO SMOKING: ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING ROOMS. Smoking in
a room will result in a $250.00 Sanitation Fee. NON NEGOTIABLE We have provided ashtray tins OUTDOORS
near the picnic tables for your outdoor use. Please be considerate of our historic motel,
our grounds, other guests and safety. Extinguish
cigarettes completely in the ashtray tins provided
outside.
PRICES: Our prices are for double occupancy only: extra
person charge is $10, per night. Children unter 14 stay free.
ROLLAWAYS: rollaways are $10 and provided upon
request and upon availability (we have a limited
number).
PRIVATE PROPERTY: We have the right to refuse service
to anyone. We reserve the right to REMOVE anyone
from motel property deemed disrespectful,
inappropriate, dangerous, negligent, or out of
agreement as listed.
NOISE: Please be respectful of our other guests. You
must keep your noise to a minimum after 11 p.m. With
respect to weary travelers, please take festivities
to Pappy & Harriet's or keep volume to mind while
enjoying time in your room. Anyone, regardless of
being a guest on our property, who is disturbing the
other guests or acting in a manner that is disruptive,
will be removed from the premises by the local police
department immediately.
GUESTS ONLY: Pioneertown motel and its property is
for registered guests only. No exceptions.
DAMAGE: Damage to any room or lost/stolen items will
be charged to you. You will be charged for damage
caused by pets, children, or negligence.
LINENS: We have provided all linens but please remember water conservation is important in the desert.
Please help us conserve by using towels more than
once to cut on water and energy. if you want/need new
towels, please notify management and we will gladly exchange them.
Conservation: We believe in conserving energy,
maintaining safety & we recycle. Please be aware of
turning off your lights, air conditioning/heating
units, and stove tops when not in use.
DAILY HOUSEKEEPING: By request only. If you wish,
housekeeping can be contracted at the Office for an
additional fee. Otherwise, you may contact the Office
for replacement of linens or paper goods.
Any rooms
left at check-out time in a state that is deemed
beyond normal housekeeping will be charged to you at
an additional $20/hr.
THE OUTSIDE WORLD: Telephones are intentionally
missing from our rooms, Only Cingular gets reception
here. Most of our television sets are small, though
we do have satellite tv with 200 channels in each
room.
STOVES: please Ask motel staff for assistance with
stove top units. We keep gas valve shut until usage
is requested to motel management.
Absolutely NO FIRES: $250 Fine we have only just
begun recovery from the 2006 sawtooth fire’s
devastation of the pioneertown area. No fires
includes candles in your room, fire pits, charcoal
bbq’s, fireworks, pyrotechnics, etc
Lost & found items: lost & found items are labeled and
dated upon recovery. We hold items for 6 months
before donating or disposing of found items.
REPORT DAMAGES: Damage or destruction to motel
property left unsaid results in fines. It is better to
report damages in & outside of room to motel staff,
then to leave for discovery.
RESERVATION POLICIES
Substitutions: We reserve the right to make room
substitutions, only if needed.
Minimum stays: There is a two night minimum stay on:
Friday/Saturdays and 3 & 4 day holiday weekends,
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years holiday
periods and special events.
One night reservation for a Friday, Saturday
or special event weekend will be charged an
additional $20 per room.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Group reservations: Group reservations of six rooms
or more a deposit of 50% is required at the time of
reservation.
Cancellations: we require a 72 hour cancellation
notice for standard bookings or you will be charged
the full amount of your reservation.
During holidays and special event weekends there is a 10
day notice policy including but not limited to:
Memorial Day Weekend: May
Independence Day Weekend: June/July
Labor Day Weekend:August/September
Thanksgiving: November
Christmas/new years: December/January
If we receive your cancellation within our policy
there will be no charge
If you do not arrive on your arrival date and have
not notified the office, you will be considered a NO
SHOW. Your reservation will be cancelled and you
will be charged the full amount of your reservation.
DRY CAMPING: We also offer dry camping at the rate of $15 per
night, per vehicle or tent.
We have no water or electrical hookups.
ABSOLUTELY NO RV WATER TANK FILLING. Please
contact the office We will assist you if you need
additional water
PET/HORSE POLICIES: We are a pet friendly motel. Pets are allowed for an
additional fee:
Dogs/cats: Dogs/cats are allowed for an additional
$15 per night per room, per night.
We wish your pets to be happy and safe.
1. All dogs must be non aggressive and non barking at
all times.
2. Please do not leave your pets in the room when
leaving the premises.
3. Please pick up after your pet on motel grounds and
the surrounding area. pooper scoopers are available
around our property. Non pick up and mess in and out
of rooms result in $35-$150 charges for negligence.
4. Please ask for a cover for the floor or bed for pet
use.
HORSES
Horses are $15 per horse/corral, per night. We have
provided our pipe corrals for your horse. You are
responsible for your horses safety and security.
1. Please secure your designated corral gate
properly.
2. We provide tubs and water supply, you must bring
your own feed.
3. Please keep your horse at a walk on motel and
town property. 4. Absolutely no horse tack, saddles or supplies in
our rooms whatsoever. You will be charged an
additional cleaning fee of $25.00 for non compliance.
5. Please clean out your stall when leaving with the
rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows provided. Hay and
manure can go in the dumpster. horse corrals must be
raked clean, including hay, waste and sawdust bedding.
Additional cleaning of corrals by motel staff will
result in a $35 - $50 charge.
6, Horse droppings on motel property must be cleaned
“as you go” and disposed of in dumpster and not dumped
on back lot or on surrounding properties. Rakes,
shovels and wheel barrels are available near the
dumpster on the back side of the motel property.
Please respect the history of the Pioneertown Motel. Do your
part to preserve and protect everything that
was, everything that is, & all that we wish it
can always be.
