Pioneertown is about 130 miles east of Hollywood. Take Interstate
10 about 100 miles to Highway 62 (29 Palms Highway - Joshua Tree National
Park). Go About 20 miles NE on Highway 62 to Yucca Valley. The second light you come to in Yucca Valley is Pioneertown Road. Look for the sign;
'Pioneertown' and the Water Canyon Coffee Company on the NW corner. Turn left (north) on Pioneertown Road and go about 3 and a half miles.
First, you'll see the sign; 'Pioneertown 1946', then look for Pappy &
Harriet's Pioneertown Palace. Turn right on the dirt road just before Pappy & Harriet's. The Pioneertown Motel is the buildings with the long red roof located just behind Pappy &
Harriet's.
